QuickBooks Online

Connect, reconnect, or disconnect your QuickBooks account

Ledger connects to QuickBooks Online so your customers, invoices, expenses, and payments stay in sync without double entry. You manage the connection from inside the Ledger mobile app — connecting, reconnecting, and disconnecting all happen there.

Connect or reconnect QuickBooks

To link your QuickBooks Online company (or reconnect after a disconnect):

  • Open the Ledger app on your phone.
  • Go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks.
  • Tap Connect to QuickBooks and sign in to Intuit when prompted.
  • Authorize Ledger, then choose the QuickBooks company you want to sync.

Disconnect QuickBooks

You can disconnect at any time and Ledger will stop syncing with QuickBooks immediately:

  • Open the Ledger app and go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks.
  • Tap Disconnect. Your QuickBooks connection is revoked right away.

You can also disconnect from the QuickBooks side at any time from Apps & subscriptions → My Apps in QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting from either side ends the connection; we keep no QuickBooks access after that, though records already synced remain in each system.

What syncs

While connected, Ledger can sync customers, invoices, payments, and project expenses between Ledger and your QuickBooks Online company, under the permissions you authorize during connect.
